More on these in the Telecare Aware postings planned for Thursday. Meanwhile, a link to the newsletter in PDF format: http://networks.csip.org.uk/nl/?l=369_1_1_1

Whistleblowing

Media services

Telecare, telehealth and telemedicine are hot news topics.

Governments all over the world are looking more and more to technology to support care provision outside of hospitals. They expect it to deliver health and economic benefits in the face of escalating costs, rising numbers of older and disabled people, and reducing numbers of younger people who wish to undertake home care in particular. But will it?

Telecare Aware is in a unique position to broker information between journalists watching this topic and the companies generating the news.

For the media, the site is an invaluable archive of stories culled from all over the world since 2005 and there is a confidential Media Alert Mailing Service. Details here.

For companies, there is a confidential press release service, for writing, proofing or making them 'reader-friendly'. More information here.
